Fire Department Poster Contest

The Lebanon City Fire Department is hosting a Fire Safety Poster Contest to help spread the message of fire safety!

The winning entry will be made into a decal that is placed on the side of a fire truck where it will ride for the entire year. The deadline to submit entries is Friday, August 23, 2024.

Eligible contestants must be between 6 – 12 years old and are Lebanon County Residents.

Posters must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the contest:

  • The posters must be created on 12-inch by 12-inch paper. Manila, white drawing, colored construction paper, oak tag, or their equivalents can be used.
  • Use materials in color or black and white which can be commercially reproduced, e.g., poster tempera, crayon, felt tip markers, watercolors, pen and ink, computers, etc. Collage techniques are acceptable. Bold, solid colors carry better at a distance.
  • Include the theme title "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!”. Additional phrases or words should be kept to a minimum. All words must be spelled correctly and readable at a distance.
  • Be original art work and lettering.
  • The use of replicas of copyrighted or registered characters and/or logos, or software clip art is prohibited!
  • The poster must be reproducible.
  • All posters must be done by an individual. Joint artwork is not permitted.
  • Have fun and show off your talent!
