PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT

Assistant Sanitation/Housing Inspector (PT)

The position is a part-time position in the Department of Public Safety. This is a specialized position that involves maintaining sanitary conditions and minimum housing standards of all existing structures, and eliminating blight, through enforcement of local ordinances pertaining to sanitation, public health, and existing structures. This employee responds to complaints and conducts field inspections to investigate public nuisances and affects remedies for compliance and/or abatement. This employee prosecutes violators.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.37 per hour

Work Location: In person
